A vehicle Pawnbroker loan is a short-term cash loan against a vehicle. The vehicle will be held in our private and secure storage yard until the loan is paid in full including interest. There are no credit or background checks. No employment or salary details required. We do not need to know the purpose of the loan.
If you have any vehicle, caravan, bobcat or excavator that is maintained and in good working order, you can pawn the vehicle and get an instant cash loan in minutes.
To obtain an Instant Loan on your vehicle, VPS will loan you a maximum amount of 50-60% of the wholesale value of your vehicle*.
*The wholesale value is checked by the Pawnbroker using third-party services (such as Redbook and Carsales).
Your Vehicle Must
- Be owned outright by the Lender (you) with no finance or loans owing on the vehicle.
- Be registered, roadworthy and in good running condition.
- You are required to be the current registered owner of the vehicle and have valid photo identification, current registration papers, or ownership documents of your vehicle
Pawn Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid photo I.D. required.
- Ownership proof and valid registration papers required.
- All items will be tested and must be in saleable condition.
- Items will be forfeited without payment after 90 days.
- Identification requirements.
Redeeming Your Pawn
- Must pay the loan in full including interest and any other fees/charges by cash or bank transfer to redeem.
- Must present photo I.D. and pawn ticket.
- Must be the owner of the vehicle.
- Can only be redeemed if the pawn has not expired.

Term of loan is maximum 3 months, but may be extended with payment of monthly interest.
No other fees or charges if redeemed within 3 months.
If pawn is extended, after 3 months a storage fee will be charged, amount is dependent on vehicle pawned.
*We will offer a lower interest rate compared to similar competitors within the Sydney region (subject to discretion of Pawnbroker).
